CAFETERÍA BAR IDEAL

Café IDEAL, a lunch and dinner restaurant-bar. Imagined and brought to life by Savvy, the space unfolds as an integrated exercise in authorship—where concept, design, and execution are approached as one continuous gesture. Every element, from the chairs to the spatial composition, has been conceived and developed in-house, reflecting a commitment to total design.

Its atmosphere nods to Mexico City’s 1970s through a European lens, articulated through a careful interplay of references: archival fabrics, selected antiques, and contemporary lighting by Bocci. Each piece is considered not as an isolated object, but as part of a larger narrative—one that bridges past and present with a sense of quiet coherence.

The menu, conceived by @lailacooks, is seasonal and unforced, focused on well-cooked ingredients with subtle Southern European influences. It extends the guesthouse’s ethos into a shared, everyday ritual. @ideal.pension is meant to feel cozy and comfortable rather than performative—a place for conversation, softened by boleros and classical music playing gently in the background.
